The House

I'll be posting pictures of the house as I get it cleaned up and fixed up. I think that will give me a better idea of how things look and others can look and give their opinions on rearranging or redecorating it better.

Lisa's Room

Here is Lisa's Room, repainted and decorated. We are going to make a platform bed and will post those pics after it is done. 

Just taking it easy this Spring

Just sitting home enjoying the warm weather so early in April. Lisa is getting ready to study abroad this summer in Italy for 9 weeks with some other students from OSU. We are all hard at work at Lowe's. John is at Blackwing Shooting Center as a sales associate. Starting to get back into yard work again. I'm planning a small vegetable garden, mostly salad stuff. Selling a lot of unused items on ebay. My seller ID is crafter41. John puts sporting goods on under his ID jhjanko. I hope to come up with something that I can do as a business and open an ebay store down the road.

Here is Christmas 2005: I guess I need to practice taking digital pics since some of these are dark and blurry, but you get the idea. The pics from left to right and top to bottom are: Debbie, Herb, Lisa, Steve, Chuck, Jim and John, Jennifer and Nicole, Dot staring at a squirrel just a few feet up the tree, and Ed. A grand time was had by all, especially playing bunco.

Hey

I haven't posted much since the beginning of the year. I will have some 2005 Christmas pics on soon. Everyone is working and the kids are all in school. Steve is out on his own, working full time and finishing up school at DeVry University. Chuck works at Lowe's part time and will graduate from Columbus State Community College after the spring quarter. He is deciding where to move onto to in the fall. Lisa is in her second year at OSU. She made Dean's list this last quarter and is applying to study for 8 weeks this summer in Italy. She's already been to Japan on her own-quite the traveller! After Christmas I will get some pics on of everyone especially for those who have not seen the kids for quite some time.

Here are some pictures from Christmas 2004 at Janice and Ed's home. It was actually celebrated the weekend before and we left that evening before the big snow hit. Always a Cleveland event!

New Porch 

House changes

Here are the pictures of the new porch post and railing. I am deciding if I should bring the railing around to the front of the porch on either side. I still need to paint, but I think that it is now too cool outside to do that. Plus, I have to paint the garage doors and all the trim so, Spring might just be a better time especially if I have the contractors come back out and add to the porch. Let me know what you think.

Steve is now a Dad-of two kittens. I haven't seen them yet and will get some pics when I go to his apartment.
