The house has been on the market now since the first of the year. We are getting a lot of showings lately. The one this evening will be the third time this couple has gone through and they are bringing the parents-always a good sign. Actually, the place is looking mighty fine.
Everything is clean and neat and put away. I still have quite a few items to go through and get rid of. Sort of a second go round. I probably should have done that over the past month or two, but you know how that goes. I will be very motivated since things are moving quickly. The weather has been very warm this week, not much rain, but it sure beats cold and snow!

Winter Finally
More snow and cold. We are getting tired of winter. Had about 8" or so of snow this week and below zero temps. Here is Dot on the deck. John dug a path for her and Cricket so that they could get to the yard. You couldn't find the steps.

Dining Room
Here is the dining room. The white spots in the picture are a reflection of some type. The valances match the border. The picture on the wall is a duplicate of the one that we had in our wedding pictures from the reception hall. The dining room set is a Duncan Pfyffe Mahogany with a buffet.
Family Room Pictures
We are slowly finishing the house-painting, repairing, cleaning. Here are the pictures of the new family room. Gone is the stencilling and a lot of clutter. The room is quite large with a gas/wood fireplace and patio doors to a deck.

The House
I'll be posting pictures of the house as I get it cleaned up and fixed up. I think that will give me a better idea of how things look and others can look and give their opinions on rearranging or redecorating it better.
