New Porch 

House changes

Here are the pictures of the new porch post and railing. I am deciding if I should bring the railing around to the front of the porch on either side. I still need to paint, but I think that it is now too cool outside to do that. Plus, I have to paint the garage doors and all the trim so, Spring might just be a better time especially if I have the contractors come back out and add to the porch. Let me know what you think.

Steve is now a Dad-of two kittens. I haven't seen them yet and will get some pics when I go to his apartment.

House of New Colors

Here is our home with new light gray siding. I repainted the shutters a colonial blue. We still have some work to do with our cottage landscaping and a new porch post and railings. The contractor is coming out Oct. 2, hope to get it done by winter. Then I need a week off from work to paint all the trim and doors so it all will look new.

Have some pics of the garden. I am getting tired of cherry tomatoes. Only 2 plants and hundreds of tomatoes. I have frozen several containers that I will throw into my chili. The peppers are anaheim peppers. I am going to make chili rellenos as soon as I have the chance. Working 50 hours a week sure gets in the way of creativity.

Lisa and Chuck to school

Lisa is headed to OSU. She has convocation on Monday Sept. 20, then a picnic and concert with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday and Classes on Wed. This week she has a meeting with other commuters.

Chuck is taking online classes this quarter. He will only need to go to Columbus State a couple of times this quarter.

Steve moved out to his own place. I will get some pics on here in short order.
